Our story

Ingenuity has shaped PPC from the beginning.

More than five decades of practical manufacturing knowledge.

Founded in Bankstown in 1970 by an engineer and a chemist, PPC began with a clear ambition: to develop innovative adhesive-coated products for Australian industry.

With modest premises and limited resources, the founders combined practical engineering, in-house chemistry and a strong commitment to customer service. Their first coating machine was designed and built in-house from second-hand components in 1972.

Early solvent-based products combined natural-rubber adhesives with polyethylene film, aluminium foil and reinforced foil laminates for HVAC, insulation, construction, packaging and industrial applications.

That application-led approach still guides PPC today. Adhesive formulations, coating technology, manufacturing, warehousing, laboratory work and quality control remain closely connected so the team can respond with practical, manufacturable solutions.
